Class 1 enjoyed their food workshop with Kizwanda this morning.
They learned all about different fruits such as strawberries, pineapple, oranges, apples, blueberries, kiwi, mango, bananas, pomegranate and passion fruit.
They chopped up the fruit and some made faces out of their chosen fruits, some made sails for the pineapple boat and some scooped out some very messy pineapple!
The children then tasted all of the different fruits blended altogether into a smoothie. One was made with coconut milk and yoghurt and the other was made with tropical fruit juice. The children had a vote and their favourite was both of the smoothies!
