We have been very lucky to have a visit this morning from local artiste, Haf Watkins with her harps. She played a selection of solo pieces for the children and then sang ‘Lawr ar Lan yr Mor’ providing musical accompaniment on the harp.
The children were able to look at the harps and touch the strings whilst finding out about them.
This very special visit on Dydd Miwsig Cymru enabled the children of Ysgol Meifod to become more ethically informed citizens in line with the new Welsh Curriculum.
