We had a great day today with a visit from Xplore Wrexham! We had the planetarium up in the hall, all classes went in. Then Class 1 had a construction challenge and Class 2 & 3 a rocket workshop.

We all had a great time and learnt lots!

Class 3: Pilot Visit and Recipes please

Lowri John — Mon, 28 Sep 2026 15:06:22 +0000

Good afternoon,

We’ve had a good day, with a visit from an Easyjet captain. He answered loads of different questions from the pupils which was great.

I have 5 recipes in for the pupils, it would be great to get more so that the book and fundraiser can go ahead.

Thank you

News: Recipes – Please, Please, Please!

Lowri John — Fri, 25 Sep 2026 14:59:48 +0000

Please can you email a recipe to include in the recipe book that we would like to make as a fundraiser! We need these funds to support outings and resources for the school and playgroups.

We need the recipes by the end of the month so that we can get the books printed.

If you can’t type the recipe out and email it, please could you write it out and send it in with you child/children.

Thank you so much to the handful of parents who have sent them in.

News: Recipe Book

Lowri John — Wed, 16 Sep 2026 11:46:42 +0000

Recipe Book Fundraiser!!!

Please can you email in a recipe that your child/children love to eat! We would like one per pupil to go into the recipe book. All staff will include one too.

Please email to Miss John on johnl253@hwbcymru.net

Tiny Tots have already received some recipes. It would be great to start getting them for school too. They can be sent in on word, just on an email or via PDF and Miss John will get them into the correct format.

We are so glad to be working with Tiny Tots and Meifod Playgroup to raise vital funds for our organisations.

Thank you again for your help with this.
