On Tuesday the 23rd January, Ysgol Meifod will be having a Poetry Day. The Young Writers have sent through the criteria for their new competition, and we will all be having a go.
We will start the day with a poetry assembly, with some different poems read by Miss John, or some clips of poets reading their poetry. Hopefully this will help inspire the children.
If you have a favourite poem, you would like Miss John to read out, please send her an email johnl253@hwbcymru.net and she will do her best to read it out!
If you have any poetry books at home and would like to send them in for the day, that would be great too!
