Year 4 made their own parachutes and found out that the tissue paper ones were the best.
They were light and trapped the air well.
They decided that a light, strong and waterproof material would be better in real life and that they definitely did not want a real tissue paper parachute!
Year 3 made A4 sized parachutes with the same string length and a cotton reel. They found out that the lightest ones worked best as long as they were flexible and could trap the air better.
