Welshpool Airport Visits
Class 1 visited Welshpool Airport today and had a wonderful tour. They even saw the Air Ambulance arrive back. Classes 2 & 3 will be going there tomorrow, and the School Government will be handing over the £40 raised at the harvest festival.
Swimming
Week 5 is on Parent Pay.
Please can those who have not completed payment for week 3, 4 and 5 do so as soon as possible.
We usually swim for between 8-10 weeks a year. As we have completed 5, we hope to have 4 or 5 more in the summer term.
Facebook & Website
We do have a facebook page which some of you have joined. After training last week and further discussion tonight, we have decided to focus on our new website. Our exciting new website (launching on Friday or straight after half-term) will contain everything you need to know. Latest news, pictures and other information will be available there. We will send you the link as soon as it is ready. If you subscribe to it, you will have notifications when new items are added.
Parents Evening
These will be from years 1-6. Dates and times are being finalised and sent to you this week. They will be during November 14-18th (second week after half-term). These will be face to face or via telephone..

New Play area
Work is being done on this behind the scenes. More details after half-term.
World Cup
To celebrate Wales playing in the world cup, we will be asking the children to wear something red on Friday November 25th. The Healthy Schools group are looking to organise other activities on that day. More details soon.
Carols & Fair Kings Head
We have been invited to sing a few carols at the Christmas Fair based at the King’s Head on Friday 2nd December starting at 3pm.
