Class 3: Cluster Day Project – Friday 17th April

Please find below the information about the Cluster Day project at Llanfyllin School on this Friday 17^th April. 

Dear Year 6

We are so excited to welcome you this Friday, 17th April!

This year’s Cluster project will focus on our STEM subjects, where you will become part of our Innovative STEM Emergency Response Team.

Throughout the day, you will take part in a series of exciting missions to help in a crisis:

• Building strong bridges so aid can cross damaged areas

• Designing and launching rockets to send distress signals into the sky

 • Filtering and testing water to make sure it is safe to drink

• Solving maths challenges to help plan the rescue

As well as a fun and exciting day of learning, this is a great opportunity to meet some of our secondary school staff, familiarise yourself with the school, and get a taste of life in Year 7.

Please come in your primary school uniform and bring a pencil case if possible. Bring your own packed lunch and snacks to eat on site. If you can, also bring an empty plastic bottle, as this will be used in some of the activities.
